The number of Internet marketers has risen exponentially during recent times due to the promising returns offered, provided the value and appropriateness of the chosen niche market is significant. This article will mainly focus on assessing and understanding the value of your chosen niche market. In the Internet marketing industry, customers use money as a medium of exchange for the information and value you provide from your digital downloadable info product.
From my experience and perception, there are 3 main values:
1) Solve problems
One of the main values is to provide assistance in solving problems. For instance, if you are in the ‘Weight Loss’ niche, you could offer an info product (e.g formulated diet E-book) that solves weight loss problems. Customers pay to obtain the value of your information product which would help them solve their problems specifically. Remember, the product you offer here is within a specific niche and not a general product.
2) Provide entertainment
Providing entertainment is one of the main values. For example, if you are in the ‘Music – Piano’ market, you could offer an information product (e.g Playing R&B music on Piano video) that shows you playing the latest R&B music on the piano. Incorporating the first value as mentioned, you could add more value to your info product by demonstrating the steps of playing music. That way, customers pay for the entertainment value of your info product which you are offering within a specific niche.
3) Provide convenience
Providing convenience is also one of the main values of a niche market. For instance, if you are in the ‘Investment – Stocks’ niche, you could offer an info product (e.g Stock exchange monitor software) that shows the real-time movement of stock prices on the computer or smart phones. Customers are then paying for the convenience obtained from your info product which you offer within a specific niche.
